Palos Verdes

Striking oceanside cliffs and lush green hills make the Palos Verdes peninsula a jewel of Southern California. Located 25 miles south of Los Angeles, Palos Verdes is known for excellent schools, beautiful estates, and the outdoor lifestyle whether the ocean or horseback riding is your adventure of choice.

Marymount College is located in Rancho Palos Verdes. Local private schools include Chadwick School and Rolling Hills Country Day School.

Transportation: Palos Verdes is easily reached by the Pacific Coast Highway. The Palos Verdes Peninsula Transit Authority has nine different bus routes spanning the Peninsula.

Local Attractions: The South Coast Botanic Garden is 87 acres of land that offers different gardens, a lake, and an open meadow. The Terranea Resort draws visitors looking for relaxation with an ocean view. The Point Vicente lighthouse in Rancho Palos Verdes is a popular historic landmark. Wayfarers Chapel, also known as the Glass Church, is a church designed by Lloyd Wright and listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
